Trading since the 1600s, owners Jim and Claire Alexander are the latest in a long line of custodians of this wonderfully historic pub, once frequented by Winston Churchill himself!

Jim and Claire Alexander have been successfully running The Ebrington Arms near Chipping Campden since 2007. During their tenure the pub has been named CAMRA North Cotswold ‘Pub of the Year’ no less than three times, whilst picking up two AA rosettes for its food and four stars for its accommodation.
The young couple (with two nippers in tow) took over the then derelict Killingworth Castle in the autumn of 2012. Since reopening, the pub has gone on to win an AA rosette and a Michelin Bib Gourmand which it has now held for three consecutive years.
The Killingworth Castle was also included in the Sunday Telegraph‘s 2013 list of top 500 eateries in the UK and was named ‘Restaurant of the Year 2013′ and ‘Pub of the Year 2014’ by the Oxford Times.
