A Warm Welcome to Our New Head Chef, Edward Dutton

We’re thrilled to announce a fantastic addition to The Killy family – please join us in giving a huge welcome to our new Head Chef, Edward Dutton! Edward comes to us from the iconic Claridge’s in London, bringing over two decades of culinary experience and a wealth of expertise from his time training under culinary greats Shane Osborn at Pied à Terre and Chris Staines at Foliage.

And what a moment for Edward to step into our kitchen! We’ve just been named 17th Best Pub in the UK by The Good Food Guide and have featured in the Top 50 Gastropubs list with Estrella Damm UK for the second year running. There’s plenty to celebrate here in our cosy corner of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. With Edward now at the helm, having led Claridge’s 5 Red Star, 3 AA Rosette kitchen, we can honestly say the food coming out of The Killy kitchen is better than ever.

We’re also delighted to welcome Rob Mason as our new Senior Sous Chef. Rob joins us from The Cottage in the Woods, Malvern, where he ran a hugely successful 3 Rosette menu. Like Edward, Rob also brings extensive Michelin-star experience, ensuring our kitchen team is stronger than ever.
