Tapas Zampa at The Killingworth Castle
Spanish tapas comes to The Killy this October.
This October, we’re welcoming Tapas Zampa to The Killingworth Castle for a special series of Monday and Tuesday evening pop-ups, bringing authentic Spanish flavours to the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.
Join us from 5pm–8pm and enjoy a menu of freshly prepared, scratch-cooked tapas inspired by traditional Spanish recipes. Expect Tapas Zampa favourites including their signature patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, crispy pork belly with lime and pan tumaca, alongside plenty more dishes designed for sharing.
Founded in 2023 by chef Adrian, Tapas Zampa has quickly built a reputation for fantastic food and warm Spanish hospitality. The business was featured on the BBC's The Hidden World of Hospitality with Tom Kerridge, was named Coventry & Warwickshire Street Food Vendor 2023, and reached the finals for Midlands Street Food Team of the Year in both 2024 and 2025.

Cocktail Nights
Join us at The Killy for a series of Cocktail Nights, celebrating great drinks, good company and a little bit of history along the way.
Each evening will feature a specially created seasonal cocktail for £10, inspired by British flavours, traditions and stories, with the option to add paired canapés for £10 per person.
22 October – The Killingworth Harvester
An orchard-inspired autumn cocktail blending Somerset cider brandy, apple and lemon juice, honey and Angostura. A celebration of the English apple harvest — autumn in a glass.
19 November – Gunpowder Plot
A darker, warming November serve combining dark rum, sloe gin, Angostura and orange, inspired by one of Britain’s most famous historical events.
17 December – The Oxford Punch
We finish the series with a luxurious festive punch of cognac, dark rum, orange curaçao, citrus and spice, inspired by the historic Oxford Punch once enjoyed by the city’s scholars and dining societies.

Autumn Snooker Tournament
A little friendly competition is coming to The Killy this November. Join us for our Autumn Snooker Tournament, played on our beautifully restored antique J.S. Riley snooker and billiards table.
Matches will take place on Wednesday evenings throughout November, with a knockout format, best of three frames and 10 reds. Match times will be available from 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, with most games expected to last around an hour.
There’ll be prizes for the winner, runner-up and highest break, with the final prize fund dependent on the number of entries.
Entry is £10 per person and places are limited. Speak to a member of the team to reserve your place and join us for good food, fine drinks and a bit of friendly competition.
